Attorneys Marvin Salenger and Steve Gokberk recently settled a case one week into the trial. The case involved a woman who tripped and fell while stepping off a sidewalk in a shopping center. We claimed that a ramp leading off the sidewalk was improperly constructed. The exact location of her fall became a central issue at trial. To support our case, we hired an engineer who created a scaled replica model of the ramp, curb, parking spot and handicapped parking sign (as shown in photo). This allowed the jury to better visualize the defect in question. After the engineer’s presentation to the jury, the case settled for a confidential amount. Congrats to Marvin and Steve for providing a great example of how we spare no expense in representing our clients at trial.
