BACK TO SCHOOL IS THE TIME FOR GIVING BACK! Last Sunday, the Salenger Sack team had the privilege of supporting a Long Island community by donating $3,000 and volunteering at The Bread of Life Church in Wyandanch. Over 1,000 backpacks were distributed to the children who attended. The “Back to School Jump-Off 2019” event included a huge community BBQ, block party entertainment, face painting and other fun activities. Local community volunteers provided free haircuts, hair braiding and manicures for all the kids getting ready to go back to school. “Spending the day with my team, giving back to families in need and handing out backpacks and school supplies was not only rewarding, but truly humbling,” said partner Jeff Kimmel. “We’re thrilled to help these kids with the supplies they need for school.”
