Possessing a previous background as a defense attorney, Gerilynn uses her extensive knowledge of both sides of the law to secure positive outcomes for her clients in the areas of personal injury law, estate planning, and guardianship.
As an accomplished attorney, wife, and mother of two young sons, Gerilynn understands the importance of stability within a family. Prior to advocating for plaintiffs, Gerilynn worked for a defense firm in the general liability and medical malpractice defense department. This experience provided her first-hand knowledge of the methods hospitals and medical staff use to oppose personal injury claims, and the ability to provide her current clients with a significant advantage during litigation. Additionally, her dual background in the medical malpractice field has equipped her with the competence to discuss complex medical cases with physicians and specialists to adequately prove the severity of damages her clients have sustained.
Often, catastrophic injuries require additional planning beyond the law suit to ensure the injured client is able to receive all of the compensation they deserve. Gerilynn works with other courts when necessary to make sure the plans are in place to protect the clients’’ best interest and in some instances establish life-long plan
Gerilynn primarily concentrates her practice in the areas of personal injury, estate planning, and guardianship. She is proficient in Spanish, expanding her capabilities to successfully represent the legal interests of clients from multicultural backgrounds. Most recently, Ms.Falsco has represented clients in the fields of trusts and estates, elder law, Medicaid, and guardianship, exclusively practicing in these areas from 2013 to 2019.
Outside of the firm, Gerilynn is an active member of the New York State Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association. She is also a member of the Elder Law Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association, which consists of a very supportive base of Elder Law practitioners, eager to brainstorm and find the best ways to provide necessary assistance to the elderly.
