Bob Sack was a Founding Partner of the firm. For 30 years, he managed firm’s daily operations and supervised the professional and support staff. He was involved with strategizing cases, negotiating settlements, assigning matters to the firm’s lawyers and was always available to respond to client inquiries. His strong, efficient “hands-on” approach to case management directed cases toward speedy resolution. Bob's philosophy was to maintain frequent and detailed communication with clients, keeping them continuously apprised of their case status.
Prior to starting the firm, Bob served as a claims adjuster, and later as a defense attorney, for two prominent insurance companies, which provided invaluable experience. He served as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Association of Trial Lawyers of the City of New York. Bob was a member of the New York State Bar Association, Bronx Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association and Association of Trial Lawyers of New York City.
A Dean’s list graduate of Hunter College, he was elected to the school’s Athletic Hall of Fame as a varsity basketball player. Bob later taught Business Law as an adjunct at Queensborough Community College.
Bob graduated from Brooklyn Law School where he earned his J.D. degree. He was admitted to the Bar in New York and the United States Federal Courts.
Bob was a terrific boss, partner, mentor, husband, and father. His passion was connecting with people, not just lawyers. Outside of work, his real passion was basketball – anything and everything associated with the sport. His knowledge of statistics and history of the game was unmatched and legendary. We all miss his humor, leadership, and sharp intelligence. He laid the foundation for the firm’s continued success.
