Senior Partner Marvin Salenger was one of the most highly regarded personal injury litigators in New York. Recognized as a gifted trial attorney, Marvin was a relentless advocate for his clients. His expertise in the courtroom was inspiring to watch and intimidates even the most accomplished defense attorneys in the industry. Marvin’s extraordinary efforts and tireless dedication to helping individuals affected by traumatic events elevated him to a level that fellow litigators and law students aspired to reach.
Marvin’s extraordinary abilities earned him many awards throughout his career. He was named “Lawyer of the Year” by Best Lawyers for Personal Injury Litigations-Plaintiffs in 2019 and 2017, and in Medical Malpractice Law-Plaintiffs in 2018. Marvin was also honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the New York City Trial Lawyers Association, the Long Island’s Ten Leaders in Civil Trial and Personal Injury Law award, the highest-ranking among attorneys by Martindale-Hubbell’s Peer Review, and was ranked among the top 100 on the Super Lawyers list for the New York Metro region.
Marvin secured some of the highest awards in the profession, trying hundreds of cases over his impressive career and securing multiple multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts. He practiced in all areas of personal injury and medical malpractice law, including wrongful death, construction accidents, products liability, employment law, automobile accidents, and nursing home neglect.
With the ability to take on high-profile cases, Marvin made several appearances on popular media outlets, including “Today” and “Inside Edition,” and was featured in The New York Times and Newsday. Additionally, Marvin published a number of professional articles, sharing his proven and effective trial strategies and techniques to improve attorney practices across the country.
Outside of the firm, Marvin was a sought-after lecturer of advanced trial strategies and courtroom procedures. He chaired and actively participated in programs sponsored by Bar Associations and law schools throughout the United States, achieving national recognition as a powerful legal advocate. He also served on the Judicial Screening Committee for the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.
Marvin’s giving spirit and love for his profession led him to volunteer his time on countless occasions to educational programs and community organizations, often taking on pro bono work to better the lives of those in need of quality legal representation. Marvin was highly involved in giving back to the Ascent School in Deer Park, NY, a private, nonprofit organization serving children and young adults diagnosed with autism and other developmental disorders. He was also honored by the United Cerebral Palsy of Suffolk County for his exceptional contributions served on its Board of Directors to offer further support to their cause.
