RAINN

The Nation’s Largest Anti-Sexual Violence Organization

RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline in partnership with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country and operates the DoD Safe Helpline for the Department of Defense. RAINN also carries out programs to prevent sexual violence, help survivors, and ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice.

Albany County Crime Victim and Sexual Violence Center

Provides a comprehensive range of services to emotionally and physically injured crime victims in Albany County. Services are available to anyone of any age who has experienced a sexual assault or other interpersonal crime at any time in their life, or who has been affected by someone else’s assault.

The Safe Center of LI

The Safe Center LI, Inc. is a creation of two former non-profit agencies that separately served the victims of domestic abuse and child abuse. Located in a historic Grumman building in Bethpage, it was created in 2014 through the merger of the Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence (CADV) and the Coalition Against Child Abuse & Neglect (CCAN). Each had been providing services for victims of abuse for over 30 years.

Crime Victims Center

The Crime Victims Center (CVC) provides trauma-informed, comprehensive support and services to child and adult victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, human trafficking, and all violent crime as well as to elderly, minor, or disabled victims of crime, and victims’ non-offending family members. The Agency, a certified Rape Crisis Center, operates a 24-hour Rape Crisis Hotline, as well as 24-hour Violent Crime and Hate Crime Hotlines.

LI Against Domestic Violence

Provides a range of services that help over 14,000 Long Island adults and children each year to escape from abusive relationships and build new lives. They are a regional pioneer and leader in empowering victims and survivors, providing them with shelter and support, and working with law enforcement and the community to prevent abuse.

ECLI-VIBES

Provides specialized trauma-informed counseling, advocacy, 24/7 confidential hotline, and legal representation to residents of all ages in Suffolk County. Services are for victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, child sexual abuse, elder abuse, human trafficking, and their families. Expanded services are also available for witnesses to homicide and for veterans suffering from Military Sexual Trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
