A 42-year-old married mother of two, a non-smoker, tragically lost her life due to medical oversight. During a routine physical, an x-ray detected a suspicious finding in our client’s lung. However, this finding was overlooked by the radiologist interpreting the study.
Approximately eight months later, our client noticed a lesion on her scalp, prompting further investigation. A CAT Scan of her lungs revealed non-small cell lung cancer. Shockingly, the cancer had progressed since the initial x-ray, spreading to her scalp and liver.
Despite immediate chemotherapy treatment, our client passed away five months after receiving the diagnosis.
