Our client, a 25-year-old married woman employed as a bank teller, was involved in a rear-end accident while driving on a highway in Westchester County.
The collision occurred when her vehicle was struck from behind by a gas tanker, resulting in a fire in her car.
As a consequence of the accident, our client suffered third-degree burns covering 25% of her body.
Following the incident, she was transported to the burn unit at Westchester Medical Center, where she underwent multiple skin graft surgeries.
