A 42-year-old woman and resident of the Bronx, employed as a suite attendant at a Manhattan hotel, experienced an unfortunate incident while on duty.
While entering an elevator on the 7th floor with the intention of reaching the basement level, she experienced a sudden and frightening event. With a loud “boom,” the elevator abruptly dropped below ground level, causing her to fall to the floor. Hotel staff had to intervene, prying open the elevator doors to assist her.
