Leslie D. Knight, Esq., is a skilled personal injury attorney at Salenger, Sack, Kimmel & Bavaro. She earned her B.S., summa cum laude, from Mississippi State University and ther Juris Doctor degree with honors from Brooklyn Law School in 2011 and was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2012.
During her time in law school, Ms. Knight gained invaluable experience as an intern with the New York City Law Department in the General Litigation Division. Following her graduation, she joined the Manhattan Borough Unit of the Tort Division as an Assistant Corporation Counsel. In this role, she was responsible for defending the City of New York and its employees in personal injury and property damage cases. Ms. Knight represented major city agencies such as the Department of Transportation and the Department of Parks and Recreation, as well as individuals like police officers, firefighters, and teachers.
Her extensive experience includes handling personal injury cases involving motor vehicle accidents, trip and slip incidents, and negligent supervision. Now, as part of Salenger, Sack, Kimmel & Bavaro, Ms. Knight leverages her deep understanding of personal injury litigation to advocate for plaintiffs, ensuring they receive the justice they deserve.
Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Knight is passionate about traveling, volunteering, and staying involved in her community. She enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family, indulging in good books, and cheering for SEC college sports.
