Our client, a 37-year-old married carpenter, was involved in a head-on collision while traveling as a backseat passenger in Staten Island.
During the collision, our client, who was not wearing a seat belt, sustained a fracture-dislocation of his left shoulder.
To address the injury, he underwent a shoulder replacement procedure, which was performed over two separate procedures.
However, complications arose when the prosthetic components of the shoulder loosened over time. Subsequently, our client was diagnosed with a brachial plexus nerve injury, necessitating additional medical procedures.
